Influencer Communication

An agent that runs an agency's entire inbound influencer conversation flow. It reads every incoming message, knows where each conversation stands, drafts replies in the agency's own tone, keeps the tracking sheet current, and only pulls in a human when something is off-script.

The starting point

The agency runs influencer campaigns for consumer brands. A single campaign means 30 to 60 parallel conversations about rates, briefs, proof of reach, and posting dates. Conversations start in Instagram DMs, move to email once terms get serious, and often end on WhatsApp for go-live day logistics. No single inbox ever held a whole thread.

Half the messages do not even come from the influencer. Managers answer for several creators from one address, replies arrive from a different email than the one contacted, and threads fork across channels. The tracking sheet was updated by hand, which means it was always a day behind.

The team spent hours a day just keeping threads moving: re-reading history to remember deal state, chasing story screenshots, copy-pasting the same status into the sheet. Conversations went quiet because nobody saw the last message.

How it works

  1. 01

Watches email, WhatsApp, and DM threads as messages arrive

  2. 02

Detects each conversation's phase, from first contact to closing

  3. 03

Drafts and sends replies in the agency's voice

  4. 04

Follows up on quiet threads, then parks them after two tries

  5. 05

Requests proof like audience stats and story view counts

  6. 06

Checks proof screenshots against the numbers already on file

  7. 07

Updates the sheet after every touch so status is never stale

  8. 08

Escalates anything unusual to a human instead of guessing

Edge cases it handles

A manager replies instead of the influencer

The agent recognizes the thread now runs through a manager, keeps the deal attached to the right creator, and adjusts its pacing. Manager threads move slower, so follow-up spacing stretches with them.

The same deal is running on two channels at once

A conversation that starts in DMs and continues over email is treated as one thread. The agent merges the history so the deal has one state, not two, and nobody re-asks a question the creator already answered.

A proof screenshot looks off

Cropped screenshots with no date, re-exported PDFs, or story views that do not fit the size of the account get flagged for a human check instead of being logged as fact.

The influencer switches language mid-thread

The agent answers in whatever language the creator writes in and keeps the internal status notes consistent, so the sheet stays readable for the whole team.

A thread goes quiet after terms were agreed

Signed but silent creators get a different follow-up track than cold leads, and the team is alerted before the posting window is at risk, not after it has passed.

What runs autonomously

The agent handles

  • Reading and classifying every new inbound message
  • Drafting and sending on-script replies across all channels
  • Requesting and sanity-checking proof of reach
  • Following up on quiet threads at the right spacing
  • Updating conversation status in the sheet after every touch

The team keeps

  • Anything off-script or unusual, escalated with full context
  • Threads the team has marked as sensitive
  • Final say on edge cases the agent flags

What it saves

Replaces the manual copy-paste of every conversation across inbox, chat, and sheet. The inbox mostly runs itself, the team only touches the exceptions. Hours per day of repetitive back-and-forth removed.

The shift is not that the team writes faster. It is that most threads no longer need them at all. A conversation only surfaces when there is a real decision in it.

And deal state stops living in people's heads. Anyone can open the sheet and see where all 60 conversations stand without reading a single thread.
